Two victories already. I'm gonna hit the Dover race at the end of the month and he loves that track. Got to see him win one there back in '98 and then watched him win a truck race there '06!! Not bad for an old guy competing against the youngsters . To bad he's doin' it in a chebie though.
He seems to be such a great guy that it's pretty easy to get by the whole driving a chevy thing. He has to be one of the most respectable drivers out there, and it seems like everyone is happy for him when he wins. He's a good image for the sport.
I'm a Roush guy myself, and I'm a little let down by the bad races and just plain bad luck that Carl Edwards has had so far this season. But, if it isn't a Ford in victory lane, I'd just assume that it's Mark Martin.

Couldn't agree with you more! I've always been a Martin fan (Davey Allison before that) and Carl Edwards has been another favorite of mine. 2 weeks ago we went to watch my wife's brother (who races in the ST and Gt class) race at a track near Morristown NJ., and who comes to sit in our bleachers but the cat in the hat himself. His son Jack Jr. was driving a Rouch mustang in the same race, was pretty cool. Of course he didn't stay the whole race since he had to helicopter down to Richmond for the night race that same day. At first I couldn't believe it was him, and then I realized his son was in the race!
