Pete's driving a hard bargin! Dang! As for the needing a new family while you ARE here im sure i could arrange that. You seem like a likable guy. I know a few girls that come here to work for a friend during the summer from other countries. They don't speak much English, love to clean and cook, and are desperate to merry an American.
I hear ya', Nolan, and I appreciate your offer for help. I really don't think I'm up to going through the process of raising 6 kids all over again from scratch, though. Besides, I really like the one's I have now anyway.

Well... I just got off the phone with Clay, and we agreed! If he can get enough people to pony up to meet his 4-digit cover order, I'll be there!!

OK, first of all I'm jealous as hell for you left coast guys, you are about three years too late (used to live out there) and unfortunately I cannot make it due to business. But I think it's about time to start a rumor, they say if you repeat it enough it comes true, so here it goes. Did you guys hear Clay would come back east if we put together a rendevous somewhere back east. I would think late summer/early fall and it could be aywhere east of the Mississippi. There seems to be a lot of jealous people on this side of the river, what does everyone say? I will go one further, If enough are willing to do this, I will buy Clay's round trip ticket to where ever we decide. Let me know what you'all think. any time after Labor Day works for me. Suprise Clay, hope I didn't put you on the spot.

I'd love to be there, but from my door to the location of the event it is 2991 miles away.
In driving time it's 45 hours 30 minutes. I guess I'm not going since I don't get out of school til the 11th.
