I just picked up a fe that is supposed to be a 428 .from a 68 tbird.the head casting numbers are C7AE-A, the block C7ME-A...going to open it up and check the bore an' stroke tonite..what are the week spots to look for ? and would anyone have ideas for an honest 400 hp from this ,survival motorsports looks good has anyone used them?

well it is a 428 but i think only the tbird ..as i was told..it does not have any reinforceing ribs i see in the pictures.but still a 428,with a cast crank will it handle much in the way of performance building or should I keep looking for a CJ motor? and has anyone used scat performance parts.?? i understand they are made offshore so i am looking for something made here before we can't buy anything made here
