351m being stupid
my 351m in my 77 wont start... it's got compression, gas, and spark. the funny thing is, is when i went to check to see if the thing flooded, only 3 out of 8 spark plugs were wet... the rest were dry as a bone. won't even fire, or attempt to start. it just cranks over and over and over. i had changed the solenoid today, and rechecked the wires going to it, and everything is there, so its not that... any ideas?

It takes three things for a motor to fire, and you've got all three, yet it's not firing. So, let's go step by step and see how you have determined what you've done to check for all three requirements, because if you really did have all three, the motor would fire. Let's start with compression. Are you saying you did a full compression check? The fact that only a few spark plugs are wet make me the most curious about compression...it's almost like you lost the camshaft. Did this all of a sudden happen, or were you fixing something else and this happened?
