In 1970, Ford came out with a rod kit that includes both.
The two parts:
The clutch rod is 3 29/32" long.
The clutch rod extension is 2 27/32" long.
This extension is pointed (someone here said it looks like a crayon = yup!) and slides over the threads of the rod and is double nutted.
DOTZ7521C .. Clutch Adjustment Rod Kit / Obsolete
Fits: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD / 1967/79 F100/350.
KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has ONE: 800-816-2894.
BOB ALLEN FORD in Overland Park KS has ONE: 800-676-0675.
This rod kit is getting hard to find, several months ago there were at least 8 more.
These two dealers are the last ones that have any.

C5TZ7521B .. Rod, Clutch Pedal Bellcrank to Equalizer (Z) Bar / 18 7/8" long / 3/8" diameter rod / Ends are bent at right angles / Obsolete
Fits: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD.

2) COAZ7526B .. Nylon Bushing-Clutch Pedal Rod / Obsolete
What happens to the rod: The bushings wear down, fall apart. Then....the right angle ends begin to crack...eventually...they snap off.
