Well I have a 97 now, but I am looking at a 1995 mainly because it is an exteded cab. I was looking for opinions on how the 95 engine is. If I understand it correctly that model year is different than my 97 mainly in the HPOP and the computer. If I have that wrong some one set me straight.
HPOP is the same.
The computer has little but subtle differences in programming.
There is something about an anti-drainback valve that is different on the 94.5-95 vs. 96-97. I think it's in the cover on the later trucks, and in the pump on the early ones. Rubberduck would probably know for certain, as would Joey at Terminator.
if your '97 is a cali emmissions you have split-shot injectors like the superduty trucks, and different programming to run them... other than that they are the same
