Time for some mod's ???
I have a 04 sd 4x4 crew cab kr. with the 5.4l what to do some mods leveling kit, chip,shocks what do u have and what do u suggest i go with.In shocks can i get some that will make my truck ride smoother i don't haul heavy loads so not worryied about sag. i have leaf springs in front do i have to change that or can i level it and change the shocks to get a better ride or am i stuck bounceing around

You can level it without changing the springs. Either a mini spring pack or a shackle/hanger lift. Shocks, most around here recommend the Bilsteins. Mine have been good, but it's still a truck so dont expect it to ride like a Benz.

I have and like the bilstiens too. I had a Fabtech box leveling kit, and it was pretty nice but my 315s still rubbed. Which is why I have a 4" procomp lift.
Stay away from hard chips, tuners are a much better option. In the world of tuners, there is canned, semi custom and custom/dyno tuned. Canned tuners such as Hypertech and Superchips are a half decent option, but I wouldn't bother with them unless I got a stellar deal. Semi custom such as the SCT offerings are a step in the right direction, but there are also options to tune your engine directly. I believe SCT has a program and Sniper I know does have a software package that you tweak your spark and fuel trims for your specific vehicle. Then if you can buy some dyno time you can get the tune perfect.
I am pretty happy with most of the mods I've done, but there are probably some better options out now.
