9 inch rear question

Hi , I am back again . The machine shop has my axles from the 9 inch rear from the f100 . What I need to know what did you use for the brake drum swap . The ones I have are 11 x2 from the truck what ford car uses the same size as this with the 4.5 inch bolt pattern? The machine shop wants me to get the right size drums for the layout process . If you could give me some info it would help . The local auto parts place ( advanced auto ) is no help without an application (car type ).

Try galaxies (wagons fer sure) and see what they come up with. Couldn't the machine shop interpolate the drum and redrill them too?

Havi is right, early 60's full size cars drums should work. I know the brakes are the same.......I just robbed the E brake hardware from a 63 galaxy rear for my pickup. T/M

Thanks guys , Now I have a starting point to give the counter help for the drums . I sure do miss the old parts store that was in town ,they had a couple of guys in there that could help you with just about anything . These new parts stores can only help you if you have an application ( dang computers ) seems like the employees only can give you a part if the puter tells them too . Oh well , Now I can get this thing going . As far as the drum that we were trying to use for the 4.5 bolt pattern was from a 1990s ford explorer and would not fit the earlier style axle . I was close but no cigar . Even after milling out the center hole to fit over the axle it still was not going to alow the drum to set flush onto the axle . Different flange design I guess . And since I'm going to buy new drums anyway I thought why not kill to birds with one stone lol. Thanks again guys.....
