New - ordering advice?
Hi everyone - just found this site. Long time Ford owner and getting ready to order an F-250 Crew Cab FX4 w/ the 6.4. Would love to hear from folks about what they would order if they could do it all over again. I am settling in on the short box, luxury package, 20" wheels, full tow options, and likely cloth seats to get the split front bench (still have 4 kids, even if they are all rarely hanging with dad). Will put a carpet kit and shell on it - i tow a boat in the summer, toy haulers all year long, and will likely sleep in it a fair amount hanging with my sons in Boy Scouts. It will be a short-haul daily driver in Phoenix the rest of the time.
Wondering about which gear setup (3.73?) and any other advice someone wants to hand out.
I've been following the 2008 - 2009 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel forum - great info. Any other forum I should check out?
