transmission overhaul
I am attempting to overhaul my 1983 F150 (300 6cyl.)transmission. It is a 4 speed OD (RUG). My problem is that it is stuck in neutral and the shifter rod won't move far enough in either direction to remove the roll pin. It is now positioned under the transmission housing. I have been able to get the pin about half way out but now the drift gets stuck in the roll pin hole since I can't get a straight shot at it.
