auto lock hubs

Hello i have a 2000 f-350 crew cab 4x4 and i was wondering if the nut that is behind the autolock hub is supase to be tight. thanks for your help!!!

That is a washer.

There shouldn't be a nut? Once you get the hub off you should see the stub shaft splines. Does the nut look like an axle shaft? Cause yes, that part should spin.

There is 3 washers behind the snap ring further back on that shaft. The middle one looks like a nut.

autolock hubs

Thanks for all your guys help but there it the snap ring then a washer than a nut then a washer. the nut is i think an 1 1/16 that goes ov er the spline

3 washers. The middle one looks like a nut.
