M for eMbarassing?
Does anyone know where to find a copy of the torque curve for a 400M? If Ford was too embarased to publish one (ha ha), has anyone ever dyno'd a stock 400?

Contact Tim Meyer Inc,they are a sponsor on this site.He is the man for 400 engine specs.Be sure and tell them it is a 400,there is no such thing as a 400M.

it depends on which car/truck the "M" was installed into.

There never was a 400"M". There was only a 400.

The M designation was only used on 351.

how much torque stock? Mine has a rv cam in it and pulls good for a gasser.

I only have stock torque/hp numbers for the 400. The one i put there is the torque.

the 71 #'s are 80% of what the 460 makes that year, but at 2200 rpm
does that help?
