I'll be on my way to your fair land first thing Monday morning. I won't be in Cali until Friday, but just thought I say thanks for all the input. Lots of good ideas! My plans have changed a fair bit from my original vision. More stopping and seeing. That's a very good thing.
Tigerdan, I'll probably be passing through Mendocino somewhere around May 20th. I'll be checking into the forum every now and again during the trip. PM me your phone number and I'll call when we stop at Weott. I'm hoping to camp there on the 18th or 19th.
Wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds good! May 20th is in the middle of the week and sometime around then might just work for me. I'll be busy that weekend however, as we have a small Renaissance/Pirate festival going on here and my group is performing at it.

Pirates!?!? I don't like rum!!!! (Ray stevens)
Hopefully you loose any of them down the Glory Hole there...
I grew up outside Redding, learned to swim in Whiskeytown lake, learned to water ski there as well.
Don't know yet how my schedule is going to work out for getting togther, things just got busy for me this week. Just spent the weekend in Lodi swapping an engine and found we had a bad tq. converter, have to grab some parts I have here and go back to drop the tranny/t-case and swap it out, (might have to wait till next week for that though) plus I have a job lined up in Woodland for the next couple of days, then the festival this weekend...
