any upgrades
i have a 7.3 with a banks sidewinder turbo in a 89 f-350 is there any more things to tweek or save up for ????? any ideas i'd love this is my first deisel in a pick up my last truck was 01 pete with a 475 horse cat big difference don't know much on the older idi's

The F350 sounds like it already gots one of the most important upgrades in the power department, that Banks turbo. You also need a nice big exhaust for it, do you still have the factory setup? Recommended would be something like a 3" downpipe and 4" exhaust behind it, with a big straight-thru muffler if you want a muffler to begin with. Pyrometer is a must for any IDI, boost gauge is desired with turbos - you need to stay under 1200F on the pyro (if the probe is in the manifold) and 10psi boost to make sure the truck will serve you long and good.
