Question about different idler arm bolt patterns

Hi all. Have done quite a few searches here to no avail. I am in the process of ordering all the replacement parts to rebuild the front suspension on my 2000 Expy EB 4x2 5.4L with LLS and see that there are several different bolt patterns available. Unfortunately I am not near my truck and won't be for almost a week so cannot crawl under to take a measurement but I'd like to get all the parts on order ASAP so I can get started when I get back. Can anyone tell me which bolt pattern I would need for my Expy if at all possible or did they use random sizes for random trucks? I apologize if this info is available somewhere here or on the web but I haven't been able to locate anything as of yet. I am ordering all Raybestos/Spicer Professional Grade components from RockAuto as they seem to have the best pricing I could find so far and the Raybestos/Spicer parts come very well recommended on here and from others. I intend on keeping my Expy for a while yet and don't want to have to go through replacing another ball joint or other part for a while if I don't have to. Plus I miss long cruises in it too!

This is the one on RockAuto's site that I'd like to buy:

SPICER/RAYBESTOS Part # 4501107 {Professional Grade}
2-1/2" Between Mount Holes

Then I see these :

MEVOTECH Part # AXK8747 {Private Label}
W/ 3 7/16" BETWEEN MTNG HOLE CENTERS; Front

MOOG Part # K8747
Frt Strg; w/3.43" bolt pattern

MOTORCRAFT Part # MEOE59 {#F85Z3350BA}
87mm between holes center to center

MOTORCRAFT Part # MEOE58 {#1L3Z3350AB}
63mm between holes center to center

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Oscar

OK. I'm running into the same question on ordering an idler arm for my truck. I have a 01 Expy 4.6L 2wd. The difference in the arms is the bolt pattern.
The sites I have looked at don't really say what this means.

Is it as listed in the above post. Just measure between the two bolts on the mount where it bolts to the frame. Or should I just take my old one off and match it up at the parts store.....this is what I would normally do anyway.

I was hoping to put this part on my Christmas list so a non car person could run into the parts store and buy the correct one for me.

The bolt pattern varies with these vehicles, there are two different bolt patterns, and there is nothing that'll show you the one that'll fit your particular vehicle. The only way to tell what you need is crawl underneath your vehicle to measure the distance between the two mounting bolts (where it bolts to the frame, center to center). You could always buy both and then just return the one that doesn't fit.
