Best Interior Paint
I will be repainting my 08 console to match my interior. Does anyone recommend a specific paint to use? I've looked at the paint ITP sells and was leaning towards them, but thought I should get some opinions on FTE. Also how many cans should I buy?

The ITP stuff is good. I have sprayed my pillar pod, center console lid, and the under dash pod and still have some left in the can. You might buy 2 just to be safe. I have also used SEM stuff as well to try and match the color on the lower dash pod better, and it is good but you have to find it at an automotive paint store. That's the only place I have seen it.

I did 2-3 coats. But the stuff seems to be pretty durable, the center console doesn't have a scratch in it. I only have a very little bit left in the can. I only did 2 on the pillar because I knew it wouldn't get touched very often. And then 3 on the other pieces.

I told my wife I just had to have one of those 08 consoles and Ebay came to the rescue, I scored one for $80 with the brackets plus shipping.

You could take it to the local auto paint store and have them mix you up some paint... otherwise ITP and Diesel Manor have good paints.

I read about folks putting late model stuff on these trucks but I have not seen inside of one of the newer ones to see what they look like
