Got in my truck and start off and it started to idel rough and fall on its face. Now it starting to black smoke anytime im on the gas and now I repalced the fuel lifters and its blowing white smoke just ideling.The code i got where for fault/contribution on cyl.2,5,8 what does that even mean?Any help would go along way.

It's either going to be a FICM issue or you've got some leaking injectors. Does the white smoke "seem" to go away when your driving and does it smell like unburned diesel?

It is mostly black all the time even at idle its like a chimney when i accelarate its unreal.Also there was a (clacking) sound more than a usal diesel and would go away after i hit a certain speed.
