Maybe Tansmission Problem?
Afternoon...
Need some help!! I own a 2000, F-150/5.4L, 4X4 styleside...as anyone around my area can recall, last week we got engulfed with 11" of rain. Leaving for work last Tuesday, I ran through mid-to-lower hub water. Got through it just fine, check engine light came on, and then went off when driving home that afternoon.
now...I am having shifting problems from idle to 50-60 mph, no noise, but rough riding. Thought it was the gas, ran it empty filled up this morning, same thing.
Problems are...low gas mileage, rough riding, rough idle, hesitant at stop sign. Rough riding increases when A/C running, power wise. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

check and see if water got it the engine bulk head cable the one with a 10 mm bolt head buy the battery u should see the ecu commind out of the fire wall also maybe some watersplashed into the spark plug boots or the coil packs good luck
