Leaking Bed Plate

I have the dreaded bed plate leak. I am so happy because it is covered under warranty.
While the motor is out the Mechanics are willing to do the upgrades for a little extra cash on the side.

Here are my questions:

1)I am going to have the heads studded,

I have seen the ARP's on eBay for $400.00 shipped,
has anyone found them for less or is the best I can do?

2)Full EGR Delete

I already have the Sneaky up-pipe from Elite Diesel without the
up scoop and blocker plate.
Who had the best prices on the EGR delete kits?

not sure who is the "best" but I just got the liberator EGR cooler delete kit in the mail yesterday and it looks good. Sort of pricey for what you get but I guess it's only money right?

I just did a delete from First Coast Diesel Performance. I looked at all of them and in my opinion...you get ALOT more for pretty close to the same amount of money, unless ofcourse you make your own.

Giv Adam a call, he will answer all your questions

My truck in is getting the APR Studs installed at the Ford dealer while they fix my leaking bed plate.
HPOP fitting upgrades, all the o-rings up grades including the injectors done by Ford.
Full EGR delete at the dealer, they hate the EGR as much as I do. Up-pipe mod's also.
Rebuilding the sticky turbo, talking about larger wheel and machining the housing at the local Diesel performance shop. Installed by ford.
Not all installed items are paid by ford but done with a few C-Notes left on the drivers seat.
Have I missed anything while they have the cab off?

Yes, you have not posted the name and location of the dealer.

I'm curious about this, and any effect it might have on future warranty of your turbo.

If Ford is reading this, and he posts the name of the dealership, it'll really effect the warranty!

Will a dealer really do the egr delete or will someone else do it. My dealer said they would never advise anyone to try and change EPA devices. I'm sure a dealer could be fined for doing this. Maybe things are different some places. I did my own egr delete by blocking the up pipe but will have to wait on the complete delete until I am more confident about tearing into the engine.

It is against the law to remove any emissions devices from you vehicle and probably even more illegal for a dealership to do this....

With that said.................It is a stupid stupid stupid thing to have an EGR cooler and especially a CCV routed directly into your intake....THAT IS WHY I TOOK IT OFF!

My truck runs SOOOOO much cooler without that POS cooler and now that it is straight piped....even cooler.

Here is what the dealer did for me:
Leaking bed plate resealed
all front and rear engine seals
HPOP fitting upgraded-new oil pump
cam sensor seals
Basically any and all seals on the engine replaced
all injector o-rings upgraded
Up-graded factory turbo housing (decided not to machine the original)
re-built, cleaned the the Turbo
Oil supply and return lines to and from the turbo (up graded)
New Blue boots, clamps and intake tube from the inner cooler to the intake elbo.
ARP studs and Head gaskets. Heads were flat, no problems.
Yes the EGR was fully deleted, new up-pipe with no flange and up-scoop.
do not ask me who did my EGR delete I wont tell you!!
Next is the CCV reroute, anyone with any good suggestions how and where to re-route?
