Isspro performax questions

Has anyone installed these here? I'm wondering for EGT temp, where does it get the temp from (6" after turbo? or different)? i'm going to put them in a 00 auto...

You can put the probe in the manifold or the up-pipe directly after the manifold. Either way is acceptable. Let me know if you need help and I can get you some pics.

This is where I installed the EGT pyro probe. Right in the bottom of the driver side exhaust manifold.

When I get my new Performax Guages I just ordered from Clay at www.RiffraffDiesel.com (great deal, give him a call) I will reuse this spot for the new probe.

You want the probe PRE turbo, not POST. I don't have the Performax's but my probe is exactly where Robin's is.

Actually I posted the wrong picture. My previous post shows a pyro probe in the up-pipe.

This is the pic of my pyro probe in the exhaust manifold.

I'm running 2 pyros. One in the up pipe, and one post turbo (about 2"). I can see about a 400* difference in temps at times. Just cruising around the temps vary anywhere from 50* to 150*.
