I have some old Fords around the ranch here I have trying to take some parts off of and could use some help IDing an axle. The numbers stamped on it are 8 57 A4 : 610040-40. I think this is a dana 60 but am not sure. I am hopeing because it has disk brakes on it.
It is on a 78 F-250 but it should just bolt right on to my 74 F-250 shouldn't it? One more question, a NP205 is a lot better T-case than a Dana 24 right. One truck has a divorced NP205 on it that looks like it will swap right out with my divorced dana 24. Thanks for all the help.
