Glow Plugs!!!!
I am getting new glow plugs tomorrow. I am going with Motorcraft ZD-11. while under the VC's I am retorqing pedistal bolts and the hold down bolts and doing the .25 shims. What I need is a clear understanding of how to remove the wire from the top of the glow plug. I dont want to damage the connector. Does it unscrew or just pop off. I do understand about using a deep 10mm to loosen then use a hose to finish unscrewing it out.

Let us know how many bolts you find loose under there, and what kind of difference you notice after you torque things back down.
Are your glow plugs bad, or are you just changing them since you'll be under there? Those things don't tend to get as much exercise down here.
