Angle on 76f250 drive lines?

Angle on 76f250 drive lines?
I've heard the angle of driveline from transfercase(np205) to front axle(d44) is the reason ujoints here get eaton up. Is this true and what can a guy do about it?..........Wick

the angle of a driveline can certainly be the cause of u-joints getting ate up. now whether or not this is a problem with the factory set up i do not know. but i do know that the angle of the drive shaft to the tranfer case should also be the same on the driveshaft to rear end. in other words the driveshaft should be at the same angle on both ends. hope ive helped ya out some.

Thanks Nathan, could you or anyone recomend good aftermarket u-joints for my 76 f250? I dont need bargain basement but dont want to sell the farm for them eather. The reason I ask all of this is the guy I'm buying the truck from says it eats up u-joints........WICK
