Remote filter bypass?

OK, here's one for the esoteric part experts...

I am looking for an easy way to bypass a remote oil filter. The remote oil filter is the ultra-common style sold by Derale, Perma-Cool, Summit, Trans-Dapt, just about everyone.

I am looking for a quick and easy way to bypass this filter. A valve of some kind...

Why? After having experienced problems from clogged automatic transmission coolers in the past, I now put one in line for my transmissions for ultra-filtering of the fluid.
Even though I use a high-flow synthetic media, it will still present some resistance to oil flow so I bypass it when towing to provide maximum fluid flow and trans cooling. And re-connect when not towing to remove any accumulated particles.
Removing and re-clamping the hoses is a bit of a pain. It would be sweet to have just a quick throw valve... I've figured out how to cobble together a frankenstein looking thing using standard pipe fittings, but I can see how it would be possible to make a really clean unit to do the same. Has anyone seen one?

Another possibility would be a PH8A filter without any kind of filtering element in it, or just a coarse screen. Not quite as easy and quick, but easier than hose swapping.

Why not just get the remote filter that came with the 05-07 F250/350's. Just an idea...
