I am looking for a stock or very mildly extended track bar mount for the bigger 3/99-2004 track bars. This is the bracket that bolts to the frame on the driver's side.
I am converting my early '99 to the later "big bolt" version.
Per forum rules, we can not discuss $$$ details in the forum, so please PM me.
Isn't the only difference in the brackets the hole size? Can you just have it drilled larger? I have a stock 2000 sitting on a shelf in my shop but I'm half way around the world.
I have considered drilling it, but I don't know for sure if the hole size is the only change.
The bolt is significantly larger, so enlarging the existing hole means there will be considerably less bracket around the hole when I'm done. Possibly not enough? Unless the original was massively overdesigned, I would expect the newer version to be beefier around the hole.
