steering wrong

hello guys i am working on a 2000 f350 lariat super duty with a 7.3 power stroke. The first problem i have is that the truck dose not turn all of the way to the right or the left, is there a standered measurement from the pint man arm,and then the 2 tie rods? the other problem is the fuel filter houseing has a
over flow tube on it and this one is leaking fuel out of it any suggestions.

First off, welcome to FTE.

Sorry, I can't help with your steering question, but I can help with your fuel leak problem.

It sounds like your fuel leak is coming from the fuel filter drain valve. This became a very common problem when ULSD fuel was introduced, replacing LSD fuel. You can fix the leak by removing the drain valve assembly and replacing the two o-rings with a new set of Viton o-rings. Here is a website with pictures giving you a step-by-step procedure on how to replace the o-rings: http://home.centurytel.net/sabre/drainvalve.html

It's pretty easy to do, just a tad time consuming because it's in a tight area without a lot of hand-space/tool-space to maneuver in.

One last thing. This is the F150 Lightning/HD/Roush/Saleen forum, not the 7.3L PSD forum. It's always better to post your questions in the appropriate forum so you get an answer to your question.

do you have the hubs locked? I have noticed mine doesn't turn as far when I'm locked in 4 wheel drive. 2 wheel drive on the other hand it turns pretty good.

Pitman arm too short or something?
I bet a quick call to the local dealer would give you some dimensions.
