Changing Username?

Anyone know how to go about changing a username? Who do I need to get in touch with?

It's not something they usually do, but get in touch with a moderator or Tim Lamkin.

That will probably cost you a lot more than $4000.

It's very rarely done, usually only for very special circumstances. FTE would have to have at least one full-time employee to do nothing but change user names if we allowed name changes, just too many users on here who can't make up their minds...

For this reason, it's good idea to pick your username very carefully (and check it for typos!) when signing up to the site. For example, you may feel that you're going to keep your truck forever and so choose use the model or whatever as your username, but when that younger and prettier truck comes along, all good intentions can go out the window and you're stuck with a username from a truck that you no longer own. Happens all the time...

Thanks for the info TigerDan. It's really not that important to me, I'll just keep what I've got. I was just wondering if it was a quick fix. Thanks again.

Yeah. What he said.

When I first became a member, I had NO idea of what I wanted to be called.
Oh, yeah. . . . I've been called a LOT of things. (But, they couldn't be used for a screen-name!) Ha!

The only thing I could think of, was what I was driving:
A 2000 Blue Oval Ranger. Duh.

Now, I don't even get to sit behind the wheel of my truck (unless it needs gas, or an oil change). My 17 year old daughter basically confiscated it!
Instead of it being a small truck, it's now affectionately called "Big Red" or "My Little Red Chili Pepper"!

It isnt really difficult to set up site to allow people to change username. The name change comes from the actual user. You enter a new name and it is done. No one has to approve it etc.

FTE could do it to where if the guys change name it should say "new name" and then under it "formerly known as Prince" None of them will change it.
