Hi everyone. I've been reading the site for a few months now and love all the information that is out here. I used this site to help me decide which engine I should get when I purchased my new truck. A couple of weeks ago, I bought a 2008 F250 CC 4x4 Lariat with the 5.4. I've looked all through my manual and even done a search on the site for the answer to this question, but I can't find anything. Sorry if it has already been discussed. My question is about the indicators on the light switch. There are 2 fog lamp indicators on the switch, one at the 10 o'clock position and one at the 7 o'clock position (and this one has an arrow pointing down beneath it). What is the 7 o'clock indicator for? When I turn my lights to automatic and pull the switch out to enable the fog lights, the indicator at the 10 o'clock position lights, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what that other indicator is for. Everything seems to be working fine, it just bugs me that I don't know why that is there. I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation and I'm just too dim to find it! Thanks! Greg
Thanks! It does seem odd they'd put that on there. It looks like another switch setting. I hope I'm not the only one out there that was confused by this, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time.
