Looking at an 05 F250 with a V8 but there is also an 05 with the V10 available.
I've heard the V10 gets a little better mpg's than the V8.
Is that correct.
I know both are good motors.
Thanks

I've got an '05 CC LWB 2WD with a 6.8L and 4.10 axle.
Good friend has a CC SWB 2WD with the 5.4L and 3.73 axle.
He gets 1-1.5 mpg better on average than I do.
Choose the powerplant based on the intended use of the truck. If you plan on doing towing on a regular basis-I'd suggest the 6.8L.
