Trans temp 70 C (158 F)
EGT only went up to 450 C (842 F) at 3000 rpm back came back down as soon as I backed off.
Now turbo boost. could only manage 14 PSI at 3000 rpm

Sounds like a good plan.

Also check your up-pipes for leaks. If you see soot stains where the pipes connect to the Y collector on the back of the turbo, that can rob you of boost, power, and fuel economy.

just reading sum other posts on boost leak and thats what they were saying. the up pipe on the first shot looks OK, will have a closer look tomorrow
