Which intake manifold?
Hi, I picked up two 460 intake manifolds at swap meet today. ($100 each)
One is an Edelbrock Performer 460. The other is an Offenhauser Dual Port 360. Here's my question: I have two trucks with 460s in them. One is a '77 high-boy with a 4 speed standard,R.V. cam, 4.11 gears and 39" tires. The other is an F350 dually with power lift gate and a cargo box (cube van ), C6 trans, 4.11 gears, stone stock engine. I'm wondering which, if any, of these intakes might be suitable for which of these trucks?
Any advice would be appreciated. I have no experience with 460s other than driving the F350, which runs smooth, but doesn't have much power.
