7.3 turbo 1996. Great truck no problems. 250000K on it.
Running like starving for fuel. Code shows P0603 (int. cont. module KAM malfunction)
Before I take it to the shop I have to assume that it is a computor related problem. Could I just replace and change out myself or do I give the shop a blank check.
Regards Stu
I'd only go to the shop if ya like bending over..... Whats your maintenance on the truck like, fuel/oil filters, oil change recently? screen inside the fuel filter cavity? lottsa things to check before I'd head to the shop......
well thats the code i got when i broke the clip on the back of the negetive cable to the altenator? its just a KEEP ALIVE MEMORY, did you repalce your batteries at all? its a soft code, did the check engine light come on or didyou pull for codes and thats what you got? also if your up to the task the prefilter screen in the FPR housing could be giving you your simptoms, just watch out for your ICP sensor! i broke mine trying to get that dang screen out and the sensor is 170$ at ford! no one else sells them
