2 questions about EV2 guages
1. Does anyone know the size of the line the Tee fitting is inserted to, mine didn't come with one.
2. On the pyro, where is the most appropriate place to tap in to the exhaust system. I have seen guys tap into the drivers side up pipe, is this a good location? or would the manifold be a better place? I haven't converted to bellowed up pipes yet and didn't want to drill twice after I do this mod.
I tapped into the driver side exhaust manifold at a location just prior to the manifold curving upward. The main determinate of where to tap is where you can get a straight shot for drilling the hole. That's where it worked best for me.
I got mine from Diesel Manor because they had some nice options and great directions: Gauge Installations at DieselManor- 1999-2003 7.3L Powerstroke
The thermocouple upgrade they offer with the weatherproof connector allowed me to keep the screwed-together connection inside the cab.
Hope this helps.

The "screwed together" connection is for the EV series, the EV2 don't have amplifier boxes.
