One thing I did with my old chevys, probably will do it with the ford when she gets worse is remove the PCV valve and put an open filter (with line or no line). The other valve cover I added a line that connects to my exhaust. This essentially pulls fresh air in through the filter and sucks all the "bad" stuff through the exhaust. It was popular in racing circuits and I liked the idea of keeping everything contained. Since I ride motorcycles, I dislike the idea of running a hose to the framerail which could lead to drips of oil. Probably not enough to mean anything, but I like to contain my fluids. That's just me.
