bolt pattern for flywheel/flexplate

Is the small block ford bolt pattern used for an inline also? If it I'm gonna knock the weights off the 302 one im required to buy to swap a stick in

flex plate pattern

I just went through the same thing. Yes, the bolt pattern is the same, but the 300 flex plate does not have the heavy balance weight. And it has 164 teeth, so put a mark on one, and start counting to be sure.

Also, the 300 plate has a few 'cut outs' which the v8 plates do not, and I'm guessing THAT is for balance. Everything else is the same. A new one runs about $40 in the discount houses.
