bench seat conversion
I was looking at TRS tech section and found a bucket seat conversion for the 60/40 seat. is this for specific years? mine dosnt look like the article, mine has a full pan underneath the armrest/console.

its a 98 xlt extened cab, 4x4, 4.0 5 speed. but if i didnt have to have 25 post before i can create a signature we wouldnt have to ask these questions. Ive been here off and on for 5 years so im no stranger to the site. yes there is good ideas and info here but the search feature sucks.

bashing the site? no i just expressed my opinion. like i said ive been here under different usernames for quite a while. and there is politics that goes along with this site. seen it too many times when a newby asks a simple question and catches **** for it. dont think so? ask about ctfuzzy hmm im sure that will rattle some chains...
anyways i ripped the seat out and it is different from the article. the 98 uses a full pan underneath the third seat. the console/armrest bolts to the pan from underneath. remove the armrest and seat belt latch and your half way home. cut the foam and use the sawzall to cut the pan. get creative with the uhpostry and bolt it back in
