Chris - yeah, it's cat-back. Shouldn't be hard aside from the obvious rust issues, the cat looks readily accessible and the routing over the rear axle is to follow stock. HOPEFULLY it goes as easily as anticipated. If I get ambitious, I'll have to see if I can capture a sound clip.
Clay - I would really hate doing the whole system. As hard as my plugs were to get to, the sheer thought of trying to unbolt the manifold and route headers down through makes me cringe...ugh!! I was really hoping to do shocks first, just to get them done and out of the way, but - that budget thing curtailed me there too.

Chris, a good afternoon back at ya.
Bill, the nice thing about a 72 verses a 97 is a whole lot less complexity. If I took the fan and shroud out I could stand in front of the engine. I'm going with manifolds from a 95 F150. The stockers are butchered from poor stud repairs and I couldn't find a decent set within reason. I hope to start on it next week but I'm waiting for a call on a moonlight job. If the job comes thru the exhaust will have to wait.

Good afternoon guys. Beautiful Friday today...
Clay - I will agree with you on that point...much easier to wrench on the old ones than the newer ones. I practically had to stand on my head at times to change the spark plugs lol. My new system is allegedly to be here on Tuesday, so I think either Tuesday night or Wednesday I'll get to putting mine on. I have a friend who needs some block work done and I'm not sure what their plans are at the moment, so it'll depend on that.
The 72 in your avatar reminds me of the one my neighbor had some 20 years ago. Same paint scheme and everything...

I graduated high school in 1982, but was not into country at the time. I was more into AC/DC type of music. ROCK ON, now in my mid 40's I can appreciate country a bit more, just don't like it too twangey, if you know what I mean.

PPL in Martins Creek just took down 1 of the smoke stacks from the old coal fired plant at 7 a.m. I drove over to watch even though I can see it from my house, I had to get a closer look. It toppled like a huge tree. Explosion to start it was relatively quiet but when the stack hit the ground it sounded like thunder.
