Hi everybody, Im new to this site, I just bought a 2002 F-250 v-10 4x4 with 105,000 miles. After some close inspection I found the left ABS sensor unpluged. I pluged it back in and now have the brake pedal pulsating when stopping. My question is what is the procedure to change the sensor and is there a site with pics.
Thanks old Ken

Pedal pulsation is normal with hard stops with ABS. Does it do it all the time even with soft gradual stops?
It's not very hard to change the ABS sensor. Two torx-head screws and it's out, put some grease on the new one, and put it in.
Make sure the surface that the sensor bolts to is very clean. Chevy had a recall on their trucks that use the exact same system, where rust would build up under the sensor, move it out far enough to trigger the ABS system and give that same pulsing pedal. It could happen with the Ford system I'm sure, although it appears (after having worked on a Chevy for my brother-in-law with the built-up rust issue) that Ford has a better steel.
The ONLY problem is the dust shield for the brake rotor might be in the way.
