Any tricks to quick engine ID
Double posting someone on the SD boards said this is where i should be
I am a newb and thought the 370 was a superduty engine
IS there a easy way to tell the difference from a 429/460 to a 370
It's a 1985 F-350 I think stock was a 460 but the previous owner replaced with an engine from a camper

Actually your best bet for an answer would be in the motor forums. There is a section just for the 370/429/460 engines. None of our trucks had a 370 stock and I dont recall anyone in here who has swapped one that could tell you. If you have a 370, that would be pretty cool to see.
