Idea behind the valley pan, is when you have a working EGR & oils that get on to the bottom side of the intake around the EGR passageways, bake, turn crusty & then fall off over time & end up getting chewed up by the cam or crank & rods or plugging the oil pickup screen down in the oil pan. That valley pan will contain that crusty mess & keep it from going anywhere else.
Some say that pan does nothing, but I've had the misfortune of having to pull the intake & heads from a bummed up head service job after only 2500 miles & it was some of that crusty crap laying in the pan.
If that intake has no EGR set up, might be ok not to bother with the pan.

yeah thanks for the info c-leigh, intake has no egr so from what your sayin i'm not going to use the pan,btw i had to get a rear sump pan ,the dipstick tube was all boogered up and no stick (20 bucks) so i got another tube-stick from a 351-m i had sittin around (screw-in type opposed to push-in witch was in pan,i swapped receiving plate also, how can i get correct reading,shorten tube or what? thanks agian.
