Electric Brake control
Ok I have an 01 F350. I just recently bought an valley journey hd part#30450. While serching for the connector under the dash, i found that there is already a connector that is plugged into it and runs up into the steering column. i followed that and it just plugs into a flat connector right up by the wheel. Im just wondering if anyone knows what this might be. Do i not need a brake controler? thanks

I think you found the wrong connector. Unless those wires are bare at the column. If you want to check it, put a volt meter on the 7 wire connector, you should see a voltage on the brake pin if you have a controller already.
