so i halled my biggest load with the new motor so far yesterday, picked up about 1000LBs worth of cement to fill my buddies wall and the toppers he is putting (well put) on it. didnt even notice the weight.
this motor i think has more tourque but not much more HP then the old one did.

That's good, how does it do for fuel economy?
I rarely notice any weight in my powerstroke but the 5.4L doesn't like it heavy. I notice it right away. 1000lbs is easy though, anymore and I do notice it shifiting longer or accelerating slower. My average weght in the bed for trips is around 1200lbs. Two pool mounted transformers and a small control panel.
