No I dont get a long weekend Marty. I am working today and tommorrow then my normal days off are sunday and monday. SO I get two delayed holidays that I have to use.
In some ways that is nice.
You get a long weekend, after the rush is over.
Evening Dave, I am doing pretty good, just a little tired because I took today off from work so that I could have a four day weekend. I spent it working on the shed that I am building and I just about got the trusses all built. Tomorrow I will be starting to frame the walls and I am hoping to possibly have them all tipped up, sided and painted before the weekend is over.
I have built many of those and once you have it tipped up.
Things will fly along.....I hope your doing 18 on center
Dave it will be a nice project when it is completed. It will be a 12'x20' with a 42" door on the long side and a 6' wide double door on one gable.
Actually Sean, the walls and roof framing will be 24" OC and the floor framing is 16" OC. I have beefed up items in certain areas so I should have no issues with it.

Should hold up pretty good then Neil and we are praying that the project does not cut into Beer time....LOL

Oh it will not cut into any consumption time.... lol.
My wife works for the town and she asked the building inspector what he checks when he does an inspection for a shed. Basically he just checks to make sure that it is not too close to the property lines and that it is built properly.
She happened to mention that I had just finished putting the floor down and stated that I had glued and screwed the plywood down. He told her that was overkill and that it did not have to be done that way. She forgot to mention to him that the plywood is tongue and groove and that it was screwed down every 6-9"
Needless to say, there are no squeaks or dips in the floor
Good Morning DE....great start to a long weekend....
Just remember all our fallen freedom fighters who gave it all... the supreme sacrifice.
"...gather around their sacred remains and garland the passionless mounds above them with choicest flowers of springtime....let us in this solemn presence renew our pledges to aid and assist those whom they have left among us as sacred charges upon the Nation's gratitude,--the soldier's and sailor's widow and orphan." --General John Logan, General Order No. 11, 5 May 1868
