Exhaust sound
My last truck was a 2003 w/6.0 and I had a Magnaflow dual cat back system installed - the sound was exactly what I wanted.
I understand that these 6.4's are very quiet even when the DPF is removed and a system is installed.
Anyone want to share what their findings have been regarding how these things sound?

The stock exhaust system and any DPF back system will be quiet. Once the DPF is removed you get an entirely different sound. Under low RPM's it's not very loud, just get a lot of turbo wash. Once you get above 2500 RPM it makes a 6.0 sound like a rice burner.
A strait piped 6.4 under WOT sounds amazing, and I don't think anyone can argue that fact.

SCT DPF delete
I have all the new tunes from ford and SCT flashed on my truck and it runs better than ever it purrs and with nothing other than the resonator to tone the noise it sounds unlike any other diesel that I have ever heard......
