Shaun... does the 4.2 in truck have plug wires ??? I thought that it would have COPs in it. BTW, to change the plugs on my '01 at the dealership ran $150 a few years ago.

It has plug wires Neil. If I am correct 03 was the last year for the plug wires on the 4.2.

The problem with changing them is that they are all crammed in and are hard to reach.. That is why they charge so much..

Aint that the truth Don. The plug wires run on the top of the motor on the back right where the motor is recessed into the firewall. The plugs are a different story. They are a real pain to get especially the passenger side rear most plug. You have to work around the tranny dipstick to get to that one.
