Fuse #21 under dash (5 amp) keeps blowing
sometimes it works for up to 3 weeks before it blows it again.
i have replaced the flasher coil thinking this might be the problem.
the book shows only 2 things on that fuse are the dash cluster and flasher coil.
when the fuse blows all the dash lights work just NOT the gauges.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated. this is driving me crazy.
i looked around quick under the dash and moved the harness all around and could not get it to short when i did this. (thinking a wire was shorting somewhere.)
how would i check?? is this something i can replace myself. i was told i can't just put a new cluster in myself because it will mess up the truck with the programmed keys. is this true?? is this instrument sender something i can buy from the dealer and replace or is it part of the whole dash cluster??
thanks for the info
