Water pump replacement
You can do this job without removing the radiator but it is much easier if you do as you have to scrape traces of the old gasket from the joint face on the block. Removing the radiator shoud be easy - I say "shoud be" because on mine two of the spring clips holding the hoses on the radiator were broken and it took a long time wrestling the hoses off. Replaced them with proper wom drive clips. Save your coolant solution for re-use.
The twelve bolts which secure the new water pump to the bock should be torqued to 8.5 to 12 Nm.
Goes back together much quicker than tearing down. When reassembling, position the worm drive on the bottom hose clip connection toward the left side of the truck otherwise you will not be able to replace the fan cowl. I had to re-do this. Re-filling takes time and patience to eliminate air locks. No leaks! Good luck.
