Well, I went to the dealer today hoping to take a look at the new F150s. We got on the subject of F250s, as I've always wanted one because the trailer I tow from time to time is a bit large for a half ton.
Four hours later I drove away in this:
It's a leftover '08 model, MSRP was over $46K, and I got it for $34K out the door...4x4 Screw with the 6.4L PSD....
very nice...shame you had to ditch the F-150 as well.
Yeah, that was the worst part about it. My F150 was the first truck I've ever had that I was really happy with. Rode a bit better than the new one, got better MPGs, and was a great truck overall.
Problem was that I used it to tow this
Which weighs over 9K loaded...and I'm going to be towing it 1500 miles to Texas in a few months, which kind of frightened me...
But, so far, in the 60 miles I've driven my new one...I LOVE IT!!
they are really easy to lift then, all you need is some springs and shocks or spring hangers and you can run up to like a 44in tire as long as it's not a bogger, that thing would look a lot meaner with an 8in lift and 40in tires or how ever big you can squeeze in there
