My truck has intermintently had issues of shutting off while driving down the road and runnning rough also. Now it wont stop it. It has been going on for a week now. It is throwing the codes for the CKP sensor, the and the camshaft position sensor and the egr valve. I replaced the crankshaft sensor already. Should i replace the camshaft sensor too? Also eversince i bought the truck two years ago, the truck will start shuddering hard or bucking in overdrive over 50 MPH. It use to be able to go over 70 MPH but it wont. It just flat out wont. This problem was told to the dealer over a year ago when they had it and they replaced the turbo and PCM. It didnt fix it. The transmissin tempature sensor went out a month or two ago and AAMCO replaced it for half the cost of the dealer. I told them of the problem. They said they didnt think it was the transmission. And could find nothing wrong with the transmission. Any ideas? I dont wanna go to the dealer again cause they are in it to make money. Its that simple. They wont even look at the truck without paying 90$. Its an 2003 6.0 F-350 SRW. 150,000.
Could be a wire chafing issue, P.S. what did Aamco charge you to replace the TFT in the trans? I replaced mine 2 weeks ago.
i second that. multiple codes and all electrical. ,maybe some tech will chime in, but i do know my brothers 7.3 would shut off with a bad cps so i would find that and trace that harness and look for chaffing. let us know what you find
