Replacement for A code injectors ?

I pulled injectors today while changing the fuel return lines. looks like they might be original A code injectors in my 1985 6.9l. I haven't found any A codes on web searches. I have an 80k na stocker 4x4 with soup bowl delete, zig ram air, and dual exhaust. What is the difference between e code and the c/d code injectors? Any preference. Might want a turbo at some point but not sure I want to run a G code injector without one. Trying to get the best bang for the buck performance and economy wise Thanks in advance.

These folks show what you now use........ 6.9 Ford Diesel parts Fuel Injection Turbocharger

All injectors from the early years (6.9-7.3) were the same just different manufacturers, in 92.5-94 IDI and 94 turbo the injectors were different.

Thanks for the link. In talking to Jim at Oregon Injectors it appears that some of the injectors and pumps are matched, so if I upgrade to the E style injectors I'll need the later pump to make them work right. Not sure what power gains are involved as the change from 6.9 to 7.3 might account for most of the hp increases. Currently stickered at 175hp so max I'll gain is 5 or 10 hp. Guess I'll flow test my stockers and save my money for a turbo.
